LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - The 2012 Champion Girls' All-American Showcase reached its conclusion Tuesday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, with future Blue Devils Kelci Smesko and Maddy Acton leading Team Freedom to the showcase title.

Smesko, a product of Ridgewood, N.J., tallied two goals and an assist while Sudbury, Mass., native Acton also added a score to pace Freedom's 16-13 victory over Team Liberty in the final. Through three days of the showcase, Smesko recorded 11 goals and one assist, and Acton totaled eight goals.

Joining Smesko and Acton in the championship game were future Duke teammates Emma Lazaroff and Jordan McCarthy, who guided Liberty to a strong showing over the three days of action at the showcase. Lazaroff found the net twice for Liberty in Tuesday's final and also contributed an assist. The midfielder from Lafayette, Colo., was named Liberty's MVP after notching 10 goals and five assists in four games.
