DURHAM, N.C.--A combination of current and incoming Duke men's soccer players are competing at the national level for their respective club programs.  Duke sophomore Chase Keesling is suiting up for the U-19 CASL Chelsea squad at the USYSA Region III Championships, while a pair of incoming Blue Devils are gearing up for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs.

Keesling and The 92 CASL Chelsea squad completed round robin play with a 2-1 record and atop Group C. His team will take on the winner from Group B, (GA) (SC) GSA 93 Phoenix Red, in the semifinals, Tuesday, June 19 at 1:30 p.m. in Greenville, S.C. The winner advances to the title match the following afternoon at 1:30 p.m.  

In the Academy Playoffs, both Zach Mathers and Ryan Thompson will suit up. Mathers serves as the co-captain for Solar Chelsea SC Academy, while Thompson is a member of the CASL Chelsea FC Academy U-17/18 squad.  CASL Chelsea is in Group 3, while the Solar squad is in Group 7. The event begins June 25 in Frisco, Texas. Finals week will be held July 16-23 in Houston.

Mathers has started 25 of Solar's 30 contests and scored 12 goals. Thompson also is a regular starting, earning the nod in 20 of 25 games and netting four goals.
