Last Time They Met
Duke opened the 2011 campaign at UNC Greensboro, falling to the Spartans 3-2 ... UNCG jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half before Andrew Wenger rallied for two Duke goals early in the second frame to make it a one-goal game ... Hakan Ilhan had two of UNCG's three goals in the game and Peyton Ford had four saves.

Offense Getting on Track

Junior center back Sebastien Ibeagha leads all Duke scorers with seven points ... He is one of eight players to post at least two goals in a game this season when he netted two scores versus Georgia State.

Mathers a Marathon Man
Freshman Zach Mathers has played all 540 minutes this season for the Blue Devils, the lone player to do so ... Mathers has split his time between center back with junior Sebastien Ibeagha and center midfield with Sean Davis ... A talented player, Mathers comes to Duke from Keller, Texas where he played for Solar Chelsea Academy.
In Non-Conference Games
Duke is 2-2-0 in non-conference games to start the 2012 season and holds an overall record of 32-16-4 mark against non-league foes since 2008 ... The Blue Devils' best non-conference schedule was a 10-3-0 mark in 2009.

Close Calls
Five of Duke's 10 previous meetings with UNC Greensboro have been decided by one goal with  two going into overtime ... The Blue Devils and Spartans have never tied.
