DURHAM, N.C. - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its Team Academic Awards on Friday with both the Duke men's and women's soccer squads receiving honors. 

Duke was the only Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) school to have both its men's and women's teams selected. 

A total of 630 soccer teams, including 194 men's programs and 436 women's teams, posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2009-10 academic year, while Duke was one of 125 schools that had both its men's and women's programs recognized.

Below are the ACC programs that were recognized:

Women's Soccer
Clemson, Head Coach: Hershey Strosberg
Duke, Head Coach: Robbie Church
Florida State, Head Coach: Mark Krikorian
Miami, Head Coach: Tricia Taliaferro
Virginia, Head Coach: Steve Swanson

Men's Soccer
Duke, Head Coach: John Kerr
NC State, Head Coach: George Tarantini
Virginia Tech, Head Coach: Mike Brizendine
