DURHAM, N.C. - Duke University freshman Sebastien Ibeagha recently earned a call-up to the United States Under-20 Men's National Team roster for a pair of contests in the Torneo de las Americas in Kennesaw, Ga. Ibeagha went the full 90 minutes in the first match against Colombia.

A rookie defender for the Blue Devils, Ibeagha started all 16 games in which he played at center back. He helped anchor the Duke backline to a 0.85 goals against average and five shutouts in the 16 outings. Ibeagha registered one assist for the year and earned a spot on the ACC All-Freshman Team.

Against Colombia, the native of Houston, Texas played all 90 minutes at center back as the United States lost in a penalty kick shooutout. Colombia netted the tying goal in the 86th minute and earned a 3-1 win in the shootout.

The United States plays again on Sunday, Nov. 28 against rival Mexico to close out the tournament. The game is set for 3:30 p.m., at KSU Soccer Stadium in Kennesaw, Ga.
