DURHAM, N.C.-The honors continue to roll in for the men's soccer sophomore duo of Andrew Wenger and Ryan Finley. The tandem was named to the College Soccer News All-America teams with Wenger capturing first team recognition and Finley being named to the third team.

Wenger recently was named to the NSCAA/Performance Subaru Men's Division I All-America first team and Finley to the third team after strong seasons with the Blue Devils. Wenger was the only sophomore selected to the first team on both the College Soccer News and NSCAA All-America teams, while Finley and Wenger are two of the four sophomores overall voted to the All-America squads. Duke is one of one of seven programs to have multiple honorees on the College Soccer News teams.

The ACC Defensive Player of the Year, Wenger is the first sophomore Blue Devil to be named to the All-America first team since Tom Kain in 1983. Wenger recently captured his second All-South Region first team honor in as many seasons after anchoring Duke's defense as a center back. A two-time All-ACC first team choice, the native of Lititz, Pa., became the first player since Jay Heaps in 1995 and 1996 to earn All-ACC first team nods in each of his first two seasons.

Wenger, also the 2009 ACC Freshman of the Year, has been at the heart of Duke's defense the past two seasons. He led the team in minutes played in 2010 and helped lead the Blue Devils to six shutouts. Selected as a Hermann Trophy semifinalist, Wenger also provided two assists in 2010 to push his career points total to 15. He has started every game in his career and owns four goals and five assists for 13 points.

Finley led all Blue Devils in scoring in 2010 with 17 goals and 37 points overall. His 17 tallies are the most in the ACC, while his 0.94 goals per game remain tops in the nation. He posted three hat tricks on the year and had five multiple goal games en route to earning the ACC Offensive Player of the Year award. His 17 goals are tied for the Duke single season record, while his 37 points are tied for ninth in a single season at Duke. This is Finley's second time on the All-South Region teams, earning second team honors in 2009. For his career the native of Lumberton, N.J., has 28 goals and eight assists for 64 points.

The Blue Devils finished the 2010 season with a 10-6-4 overall record, advancing to the NCAA Tournament second round for the second straight year.
