DURHAM, N.C.-Major League Lacrosse will hold the 2011 MLS SuperDraft on Thursday, Jan. 13 at the Baltimore Convention Center. Duke University senior Cole Grossman will be awaiting word if his name will be called in the three-round draft. ESPN2 will televise the first round live and will carry the second and third rounds.

Grossman participated in the 2011 MLS Combine over the previous five days and helped lead the AdiZero team to a 1-1-1 record in the three games. He tallied one goal overall and was picked as a player who's stock is rising after day three. He has been tabbed to go as high as No. 12 overall.

The draft consists of three rounds with each of the 18 picks having one choice. Each team will have four minutes to make a selection in rounds one and two, and three minutes in the third round. A five-minute break will separate each of the three rounds and every club also has the option of using a single five-minute timeout.

Grossman, an All-ACC first team selection in 2010, was placed on the ADIPURE team, which will be coached by University of Tulsa head coach Tom McIntosh. He is one of nine midfielders on the team and one of four players from the ACC on the squad.

The St. Louis native led the Blue Devils in assists with eight and ranked second on the team in overall points with 28. He registered at least one point in 10 contests and netted multiple goals three times. For his career, Grossman played in 70 games and scored 25 goals and 24 assists for 74 points.
