DURHAM, N.C.-Duke University men's soccer players Andrew Wenger and Sebastien Ibeagha have been selected by United States Under-23 National Team head coach Caleb Porter to take part in the two-part training camp from Jan. 8-25. Wenger and Ibeagha are two of the three collegiate players among the 22 chosen by Porter.

The training camp begins Jan. 8 and goes through Jan. 25 and will include two matches in Costa Rica against local club teams. The U-23s will conduct the first 11 days of camp training at The Home Depot Center, before traveling on Jan. 18 to Costa Rica, where they will play two matches against local club teams.

Wenger and Ibeagha also took part in the training camp earlier in December in Florida. Both Blue Devils have past experience with the U.S. National youth teams over the course of their careers. Wenger most recently was awarded the Hermann Trophy, collegiate soccer's highest honor and signed a Generation adidas contract with Major League Soccer.

Ibeagha was an All-ACC second team choice and anchored Duke's backline in 2011. He has trained with the U.S. U-20 squad over the past year in various international competitions.

The January camp marks the third gathering of this group as the team prepares for the 2012 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament in March. Tickets for the March 22-26 qualifiers at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn., are on sale through

The U.S. U-23 MNT was drawn into Group A of the 2012 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament and will face Canada, Cuba and El Salvador. The teams open group play from March 22-26 at LP Field in Nashville. The two finalists from the tournament qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London this summer.
