Head coach April Heinrichs is gathering players to form the core of the team that will attempt to qualify for the 2016 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup in South Africa.

Dorsey last traveled with the U-18 squad to Europe in March for the 10 Nations Tournament in La Manga, Spain.

A native of Elkridge, Md., Dorsey is ranked as the No. 3 overall player in the class of 2014 by TopDrawerSoccer.com and is listed as the No. 1 overall forward.  She was named the 2013 Gatorade Fall Player of the Year for the state of Maryland, after notching 22 goals and seven assists as a senior at Our Lady of Good Counsel H.S.
