Hartmann most recently took third in the Keystone Classic after opening the year with a top finish at the Hokie Open. The Port Orchard, Wash., native sports a team-high 12 wins in his first season of wrestling in a Duke singlet and also took third at the challenging Michigan State Open. Hartmann is 10-2 in decisions and recently registered a pair of falls in the preliminary rounds of the Keystone Classic. He also is listed at 23rd in this week's Gregg Henry's/WrestlingReport rankings.
Also coming in among the top 33 wrestlers for Duke is redshirt sophomore Brandon Gambucci in the No. 22 slot at 133 pounds. Gambucci suited up for the first time this season at the Keystone Classic, taking third overall. The Mansfield, Ohio native posted three falls and a technical fall as he started the season 5-1 at the Keystone Classic. His final win of the tournament came over current No. 19 Nick Wilcox of Bloomsburg.
The Blue Devils have competed in a trio of tournaments and took seventh of 15 teams at the Keystone Classic. Duke is back in action Dec. 1 for a pair of duals at Northwestern.
