Honors: Cross Country All-ACC Academic Team (2012)...ACC Academic Honor Roll (2011-12)
2013-14: In the fall, competed in five events during the season…placed fourth for the Blue Devils and 36th overall to help Duke place fourth at the Virginia/Panorama Farms Invitational (9/28)…clocked a personal-best 10K time of 30:50.6 at the Southeast Region Championship (11/15)…Indoors, placed third in the 3,000 at the Tar Heel Open (1/25)…also placed seventh for the 5,000 at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet (2/8).
2012-13: Best 8K time of the fall was a 25:00.7 clocking to place 41st at the ACC Cross Country Championships...also finished 63rd at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships with a mark of 31:38.66 over 10K...Duke’s fifth finisher at the NCAA Championships, posting a time of 31:50.2 to come in 208th...named to the All-ACC Academic team for cross country...Indoors, competed twice in the 5,000 with his season-best performance taking place at the Virginia Tech Elite meet, finishing second in 15:00.37...Outdoors, finished fourth in the 5,000m at the Duke Twilight with a time of 14:54.50.
2011-12: Competed on two occasions during the fall...posted a personal-best time of 24:54.5 over 8K in a second-place performance at the Great American Cross Country Festival...placed 31st at the Panorama Farms Invitational in 25:41.65...raced twice during the indoor season...finished second at the UNC Invitational in the 3,000m with a time of 8:33.62...competed in the 5,000m at the ACC Indoor Championships, running a time of 14:59.25 to finish 23rd...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11: Made his Duke debut at the Great American Cross Country Festival...ran 26:44.6 over 8K to place 15th...posted a season-best 26:21.6 mark to help the Blue Devils win their third consecutive IC4A title...ran the 5,000m on one occasion during the indoor season...clocked 15:53.70 in that event at the Virginia Tech Challenge to finish ninth...did not compete during the outdoor season.
Prior to Duke: Lettered four years at Saint Ignatius Prep...Central Coast Section 1,600m finals qualifier in 2010...named Saint Ignatius Most Improved Runner as a senior...first team West Catholic Athletic League as a junior...led team to Central Coast Section Div. III Championships in 2009 ... Saint Ignatius Most Outstanding Runner in 2009...led cross country team to 13th-place finish at the 2009 CIF California State Division III Championships...2007 Saint Ignatius Wildcat Award recipient and MVP for lower division student-athletes...also played soccer...AP Scholar with distinction.
