
DURHAM, N.C. - The ACC has announced that 17 members of the men's and women's track and field team have been named to the All-ACC Academic Indoor Track and Field team, the most of any school in the conference.
Nine men and eight women who have GPAs of 3.0 for the past semester, maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 during their time at Duke as well as competed at the ACC championships were selected to receive this honor.
This is the third award for seniors Bo Waggoner and Ryan McDermott and the second for seniors Sean-Pat Oswald and Andrew Brodeur, junior Cydney Ross, and sophomores Michael Barbas and Curtis Beach. Additionally, Beach and McDermott, alongside Juliet Bottorff, Amy Fryt and Devotia Moore, were members of the All-ACC team for finishing top 3 in their events.
