Team Notes:
•    The loss to North Carolina ends Duke’s seven-game winning streak. The Blue Devils, who started the streak with an 85-84 win over North Carolina in Chapel Hill, had not lost since a 78-74 overtime loss to Miami on Feb. 5.
•    North Carolina won in Cameron Indoor Stadium for the first time since Feb. 11, 2009. Duke had won two in a row on Coach K Court in 2010 and 2011. Duke has won four of the last six in the series.
•    Duke and North Carolina split the two regular season meetings for the seventh time in the last 12 years. In the other five seasons, Duke has swept the two regular season meetings three times, while the Tar Heels have done that twice.
•    North Carolina shot 54.5 percent (36-of-66) for the game, becoming only the fourth team to shoot over 50.0 percent against Duke this season. Duke has lost all four of those games. The Tar Heels hit 60.4 percent (32-of-53) of their shots inside the three-point line and scored 40 points in the paint.
•    North Carolina had five players score in double figures, marking the fourth time this season that the Blue Devils have allowed five double-figure scorers. Duke is 2-2 in those games.
•    Duke missed 15 consecutive shots in the first half, allowing North Carolina to build a 22-5 lead. The Tar Heels hit eight of their 10 shots to open the game. Duke broke its scoring slump by hitting four field goals in a row – including three-pointers from Austin Rivers and Seth Curry – to trim the deficit to 26-15.
•    After North Carolina made the opening bucket in the second half, the Blue Devils went on to score 10 consecutive points to cut the deficit to 50-34. The Blue Devils got a pair of three-pointers from Seth Curry and Tyler Thornton during that run with Thornton’s coming at the shot clock buzzer.
•    Trailing 65-43 with 11:35 remaining, Duke embarked on a 20-10 run after a media timeout that closed the deficit to 75-63. Duke got three-pointers from Tyler Thornton and Seth Curry during that span along with six points from Mason Plumlee.
•    The Blue Devils went into halftime trailing 48-24 for their largest halftime deficit of the season. Duke is 5-4 when trailing at the half this season.
•    Duke committed just six turnovers while forcing North Carolina into 12. Duke scored 13 points off turnovers while the Tar Heels scored three.
•    Duke took four charges with Ryan Kelly drawing three of those. North Carolina also drew four charges.
•    In the first half, North Carolina outscored Duke 22-10 in the paint. In the second half, Duke outscored North Carolina 26-18 in the paint. Miles and Mason Plumlee combined for 24 points in the second half.
•    For the game, the Plumlees combined for 33 points and 15 rebounds. Both scored in double figures, and Miles recorded his third double-double of the season.
•    Four Blue Devils scored in double figures for the 16th time this season. Duke is 14-2 on the year when at least four players score 10 point apiece. Mason Plumlee (17 points), Miles Plumlee (16 pts.), Austin Rivers (15 pts.) and Seth Curry (12 pts.) all scored in double figures.
•    Duke shot just 6-of-21 (.286) from the three-point line for the game after going 2-of-11 (.182) in the first half. The .286 three-point shooting percentage is Duke’s sixth lowest of the season.
•    North Carolina made 57.1 percent of its shots inside the three-point line in the first half and outscored Duke 22-10 in the paint.
