For the second year in a row, senior Cydney Ross, juniors Juliet Bottorff and Madeline Morgan and sophomore Erica Brand earned the prestigious honor. This year marks the first time seniors Amy Fryt and Megan Deakins, junior Shannon Sullivan, and freshmen Carolyn Baskir, Abby Farley and Karli Johonnot were named to the squad.
Duke ranked second in the ACC and 11th nationally with its 10 honorees. Florida State led the conference with 11 members while both Brigham Young and Nebraska led the nation with 15 members each.
A total of 676 student-athletes from 171 institutions garnered the national honor. To qualify, the student-athlete must maintain a 3.25 grade point average and either be ranked nationally during the indoor season or participate in any round of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
