Team Notes:

•    In their final regular season game together, seniors Seth Curry, Ryan Kelly and Mason Plumlee combined for 51 of Duke’s 69 points. Those three have combined to score at least 50 points nine times this season and at least 40 points in 16 of the 18 games together this season.
•    Duke finished second in the final ACC standings. Duke has finished among the league’s top three in six consecutive seasons, in 16 of the last 17 years and in 26 of head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s 33 seasons.
•    Coach K improved to 39-37 against North Carolina as Duke’s head coach.
•    Duke swept both regular season meetings against North Carolina for the eighth time under Coach K and the fourth time since the 1999-2000 season. Duke last won both regular season meetings against North Carolina in 2009-10.
•    Duke swept North Carolina in the regular seasons for football (1-0), men’s basketball (2-0) and women’s basketball (2-0) for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
•    Duke won in the Dean Smith Center for the third time in the last four meetings.
•    Duke outscored North Carolina 34-24 in the paint. In the first meeting between the teams in 2012-13, North Carolina outscored Duke 21-12 in the paint.
•    Duke outrebounded North Carolina in both meetings this season. Duke held a 32-31 advantage on the boards tonight and a 39-38 advantage in the first meeting of the season.
•    Duke scored at least 40 points in the first half for the 13th time this season. The Blue Devils are 13-0 when scoring at least 40 points in the first half.
•    Duke played its 207th straight game as a top-10 team. Duke is 173-34 in that span.
•    The Blue Devils improved to 113-23 when ranked No. 3 in the AP Poll.
•    North Carolina’s first seven possessions results in just one point. The Tar heels missed their first two field goal attempts and turned the ball over four times during that span.
•    Duke, which has the lowest opponent three-point percentage in the ACC, forced North Carolina to miss its first 11 three-point attempts. North Carolina shot just 1-of-14 (.071) from three-point range for the game. It was the lowest three-point shooting percentage by a Duke opponent since Maryland shot 1-of-14 (.071) on Feb. 11, 2012. North Carolina did not hit a three-pointer until the 5:00 mark in the second half. Duke opponents are shooting just .288 from three-point range this season, the 16th-lowest mark in the nation.
•    North Carolina’s 24 first-half points were the fewest by a North Carolina team against Duke in Chapel Hill since Feb. 3, 2000. Duke led that contest 41-24 at the half and won 90-86.
•    With Mason Plumlee’s 23 points and Seth Curry’s 20, Duke had two players reach the 20-point plateau for the seventh time this season.
•    Duke held North Carolina to 33.9 percent shooting from the field, marking the sixth straight game with Ryan Kelly in the lineup in which Duke has held the opposition to less than 45.0 percent shooting. Duke is holding opponents to 37.9 percent shooting with Kelly in the lineup this season and 46.8 percent without Kelly.
•    Duke improved to 18-0 this season with Ryan Kelly in the lineup.
•    Duke’s starters accounted for 66 of the team’s 69 points (95.7 percent). Duke’s starters account for an NCAA-leading 68.6 points per game this season.

Player Notes:

Quinn Cook

•    Scored 12 points to register his 20th double-figure performance this season and the 25th of his career. Cook has scored in double figures in 11 of Duke’s last 13 games.
•    Shot 2-of-5 from three-point range for his fifth straight game with multiple three-pointers. Cook is shooting 50.0 percent (13-of-26) from three-point range during that span.
•    Did not come off the floor the entire game, playing all 40 minutes. Cook ranks eighth in the ACC with 33.8 minutes per game.
•    Dished out at least five assists for the 17th time this season.

Seth Curry
•    Hit his first seven shots of the game and went 8-of-10 in the first half for 18 points.
•    Finished the game with 20 points for his 16th 20-point game of the season and 23rd of his career. Curry has scored 20 or more points in five of his last seven games and in 11 of Duke’s 18 ACC games.
•    Scored in double figures for the 24th time this season and 12th time in the last 13 games. Curry has scored in double figures 15 times in Duke’s 18 ACC games.
•    Extended a streak of 13 consecutive games with a three-pointer.
•    Now has 81 three-pointers this season, a career-best for the senior in his three seasons at Duke and the most by a Duke player since 2009-10 when Jon Scheyer hit 110 and Kyle Singler hit 85.

Ryan Kelly
•    Duke improved to 18-0 this season with Kelly in the lineup.
•    Played just 28 minutes after picking up his third foul in the first half. The 28 minutes marked Kelly’s lowest total since returning from a foot injury three games ago. Kelly had played at least 31 minutes in each of his two previous games.
•    Did not attempt a three-point shot for the first time since Jan. 28, 2012. Kelly had made a three-pointer in 11 consecutive games.
•    Improved his career winning percentage to .893 (108-13), the third-highest mark in Duke history.
•    Hit all four free throws to extend his made free throw streak to nine.

Mason Plumlee
•    Recorded his ACC-leading 17th double-double of the season with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
•    Hit at least 10 field goals for the second time this season, finishing 10-of-15 from the floor.
•    Scored 23 points, his most in nine career games against North Carolina.
•    Scored Duke’s first 10 points in the second half, pushing Duke’s lead to 52-34.
•    Scored his 1,300th career point and moved into 38th place on Duke’s all-time scoring list. Plumlee passed Robert Brickey, who scored 1,299 points as a Blue Devil.
•    Scored in double figures for the 28th time this season.
•    Won the jump ball for the 23rdtime in Duke’s 31 games.
