2009-10: During the fall, placed 23rd at the ACC Cross Country Championships, covering 6K in 21:14.4...finished 146th at the NCAA Championships in 21:36.7...indoors, ran 9:58.37 for 3,000m to finish eighth at the Hokie Invite...placed fifth in the 5,000m at the ACC Championships, clocking 16:48.43...outdoors, earned All-East honors in the 10,000m with a third place finish at the ECAC Championships in 35:59.26...finished 14th in the same event at the ACC Championships with a 37:06.70 performance.

Prior to Duke: Lettered four years in both cross country and track & field...2008 Pennsylvania Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year...2008 PIAA state cross country champion...2008 PTFCA Cross Country Runner of the Year...2008 first-team all-state in cross country...2008 and 2009 PIAA state champion in the 4x800m...finished in fourth place at the 2008 Nike Outdoor Nationals in the 5,000m...National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member.

Personal: Daughter of Constance and Ron Ziemian...born June 9, 1991...has a younger sister, Marina...both parents ran track and cross country at Cornell University from 1980-1984)...majoring in biomedical engineering.
