Duke led all ACC schools with 13 selections followed by Boston College (10), Wake Forest (7), North Carolina (6), Miami (5), NC State (4), Georgia Tech (3), Virginia Tech (3), Clemson (2), Florida State (2), Virginia (2) and Maryland (1). Notre Dame is first (17; currently ranked 17th in Cup standings), followed by Duke (13; ranked 14), Stanford (10; ranked 1st), Texas (7, ranked 5th), North Carolina (6; ranked 12th), Illinois (5; ranked 19th), Ohio State (5; ranked 3rd), Michigan (4; ranked 7th), Penn State (4; ranked 10th), Minnesota (3; ranked 20th), Southern California (3; ranked 6th), California (2; ranked 8th), Florida State (2; ranked 9th), Virginia (2; ranked 15th), Oklahoma (2; ranked 16th), Georgia (2; ranked 18th), Alabama (2; ranked 21st), Arizona (2; ranked 23rd), Wisconsin (2; ranked 24th), Florida (1; ranked 2nd), UCLA  (1; ranked 4th), Louisiana State (1; ranked 13th), Arkansas (1; ranked 22nd), Oregon (1; ranked 25th), and Texas A&M (0; ranked 11th).

The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. For those sports that did not offer athletic scholarships at Duke, the APR cohort included all recruited student-athletes. The APR accounts for eligibility, retention and graduation and provides a measure of each team's academic performance for a particular academic year.
