Honors: Cross Country All-Southeast Region (2012)...Outdoor All-East (1,500m - 2012)...Cross Country Team Mental Toughness Award (2012)...Indoor All-ACC Academic (2013)...ACC Academic Honor Roll (2012)

2012-13: Came on strong in the second half of the fall, winning the 6K open race at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational with a time of 20:59...Duke’s fourth finisher at the ACC Championship meet (21:00.4)...came in 12th overall at the NCAA Southeast Region Championship, completing the 6K course in 20:52.21 to earn all-region honors...clocked a personal-best 6K time of 20:38.9 at the NCAA Championships to help the Blue Devils come in seventh as a team...during the indoor track season, Baskir continued to improve after impressive freshman campaign…clocked Duke’s fastest time in the mile run with a season-best 4:46.50 to finish sixth at the Alex Wilson Invitational…finished fourth at the ACC Indoor Championships in the event with a time of 4:48.95…ran the 800 leg on the distance medley relay team that finished second at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a combined time of 11:40.08…earned All-ACC Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom…did not compete during the outdoor season.

2011-12: Did not compete during the fall...indoors, ran the 1,000m, mile and 1,200m leg of the distance medley relay...finished ninth in the 1,500m at the ACC Indoor championships with a personal-best time of 4:50.12...member of distance medley relay squad that placed sixth at the conference meet...outdoors, was Duke's top performer in the 1,500m with a personal-best time of 4:23.29 at the ECAC Championship to earn All-East honors...finished ninth at the ACC Outdoor Championships....qualified for the NCAA First Round in the 1,500m...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to Duke: Member of Bowdoin College's cross country squad in the fall of 2010 before transferring to Duke...earned All-America status at the 2010 NCAA Div. III Championships with a 26th-place performance...also named All-Region and All-NESCAC while at Bowdoin...three-year letterwinner at East Chapel Hill...finished as the runner-up individually at the state cross country meet as a senior...logged individual wins at the 2009 Great American Cross Country Festival and the 2009 US Army Maymont Cross Country Festival...the 2009 state champion in the 1,600m in track and field...garnered all-conference distinction the 800m and 1,600m events, as well as the 4x800m relay as a junior...helped East Chapel Hill capture the state championship in cross country as a sophomore, while she placed second overall....named the Piedmont Athletic Conference Runner of the Year her sophomore season...named an AP Scholar with honors.

Personal: Daughter of Jesse Baskir and Jane Wheeler...born Aug. 26, 1992...has one brother, Sam.
