Merrill joined the Duke Sports Performance staff in the Fall of 2010. Merrill oversees program design and implementation for men’s and women’s golf, women’s tennis, and wrestling.
Before joining Duke, Merrill was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Attain Sports Performance, a private training facility in Western Massachusetts where he worked with athletes ranging from the elementary to professional level.
Merrill holds a Bachelor’s degree from Keene State College in Physical Education and a Master’s degree from Springfield College in Applied Exercise Science. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), NG360 (Nike Golf) Performance Specialist, as well as Functional Movement Systems Certified (FMSC).
