Boutier Enters Final Round T-5th in Turkey

ANTALYA, Turkey - After carding an even-par 72 in the third round at the World Team Amateur Championship on Saturday, Duke University freshman Celine Boutier enters the final round tied for fifth overall with a 72-hole total of 212 at the Gloria Golf Club Old and New Courses in Antalya, Turkey. 

Boutier, who is a product of Montrouge, France, was coming off notching 10 birdies over the first two days of action and she notched three on Saturday on holes No. 1, No. 9 and No. 17.  She was one-under-par through 12 holes, but had bogeys on the 13th and 15th holes to drop back to one-over-par.  Boutier, representing France at the amateur, closed with a birdie on the 446-yard, par five 17th. 

Leading the individual play is Lydia Ko of New Zealand with a 10-under-par, 206, while Lisa McCloskey of the United States (208) and Hyo-Joo Kim (209) are second and third overall.  Boutier is tied for fifth overall and six shots off the lead. 

Republic of Korea (421) continues to lead the team action with an 11-under-par ledger.  New Zealand (426), Canada (427), Australia (427), Spain (428), United States (428), Germany (429), Finland (430), Japan (430) and France (431) round out the top 10.

Alejandra Cangrejo fired a 75 on Saturday and is tied for 55th with 223.  A native of Bogota, Colombia, Cangrejo has notched rounds of 72, 76 and 75 over the three days.  She registered birdies on the 15th and 16th holes to close strong in the third round.  Cangrejo's Colombia squad is 34th with a 449. 

Sunday's round will close the action at the World Team Amateur and then both Cangrejo and Boutier will return to Duke to get ready for the NCAA Fall Preview.
