WILMINGTON, N.C. - Due to heavy rain overnight from Hurricane Sandy, the second and third rounds of the Landfall Tradition were cancelled on Sunday and the top-ranked Duke women's golf team finished second overall at the 6,138-yard, par 72 Jack Nicklaus Course at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.

Oklahoma State was declared champion of the event, even though the Blue Devils were leading by four strokes midway through the second round.  The second round was cancelled and the results went back to the first round with Oklahoma State's round of 292 as the winner.  Duke finished with a 293 to finish in second, while Purdue and Texas Tech were at 294.

Texas Tech senior Kim Kaufman was the medalist with a 5-under-par 67 in the first round, matching the tournament record for opening round score.
