DURHAM, N.C. – Duke Women’s Golf Head Coach Dan Brooks announced on Wednesday that Laetitia Beck of Caesarea, Israel has signed a national letter of intent to play golf for the Blue Devils beginning with the 2010-11 campaign.

“Laetitia has the reputation of being a very hard worker, is very passionate about golf and is very competitive,” said Brooks.  “She has a beautiful, powerful golf swing and she’s shot a lot of low numbers. So we are very excited to her coming to Duke in the fall of 2010.”

Beck is one of the top junior golfers in the nation and is coming off winning the 2010 Verizon Junior Heritage earlier this year with rounds of 73 and 74.  She is currently listed No. 5 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index.
