ST. ANDREWS, Scotland – Continuing her busy summer of action, Duke University sophomore Celine Boutier will compete in the Ricoh Women’s British Open from Aug. 1-4 at the St. Andrews Old Course in Scotland.

Boutier, who is a product of Montrouge, France, will play in the first British Open event of her career.  She is coming off finishing tied for third at the International European Ladies’ Amateurs Championship in Turku, Finland.

She will tee off on Thursday at 9:48 a.m., along with two-time Duke All-America Brittany Lang and Helen Alfredsson.  Duke senior Laetitia Beck is listed as a second alternate for the Ricoh Women’s British Open and has yet to find out if she will get to play.

The 2013 ACC Rookie of the Year and Honorable Mention All-America, Boutier heads into her second season at Duke, after totaling a 73.45 stroke average to go along with four top 10 finishes.  Her 73.45 stroke average was the sixth-best single-season stroke average by a Blue Devil freshman.

Fans will be able to catch the British Open live on ESPN2 each day.  On Aug. 1-2 air times will be 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on Aug. 3-4 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
