DURHAM, N.C. - Following the second day of the Duke Invitational, Duke senior Dylan Arnould is the tournament leader in singles. Overall the Blue Devils won four singles contests and two doubles matches on Saturday.

Arnould, ranked No. 62 in the ITA singles rankings, won his second straight match in the tournament, defeating Sander Gille of East Tennessee State in three sets 6-4, 2-6, 6-2. Arnould received 10 points for the win to give him a high of 20 points in the tournament. He also earned a doubles win over Charles Bottoni and Grega Teraz of ETSU alongside Jared Pinsky, 8-6.

Luke Marchese and Alain Michel picked up Duke's other doubles victory, edging Robin Akser and Daniel Isaza of ETSU, 9-7. Both Blue Devils followed the doubles win with victories in singles action. Marchese lost his first set, 6-4, but earned an 8-6 tiebreaker win in the second and rolled on to a 6-2 third set win. Michel lost his second-set tiebreaker but also won his third set, 6-2, for a 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-2 win.

Senior Aaron Carpenter improved to 2-0 in the tournament with a straight-set win. He cruised to a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Isaza to earn six points.

Monday will be the final day of the Duke Invitational with matches scheduled to start at 9 a.m. The Blue Devils' matches are scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
