DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke volleyball team climbed two spots to No. 13 in the most recent American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Poll. Monday’s poll marks the Blue Devils’ highest national ranking since Duke held the No. 13 position on Oct. 8, 2007.
The Blue Devils have won 18 of their past 19 matches, including eight straight following road wins at Maryland and Pittsburgh this past weekend, to bring their overall record to 22-3. Duke is a league-best 13-1 in ACC play and leads No. 15 North Carolina (22-3, 11-3 ACC) and No. 22 Florida State (18-7, 11-3 ACC) by two games in the conference standings.
Duke travels to Wake Forest for a 6:30 p.m. tilt Friday before hosting Georgia Tech at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
