DURHAM, N.C. – The second-seeded Duke men’s lacrosse team meets third-seeded Syracuse today at 5 p.m. in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. Earlier today, assistant coach Matt Danowski offered a preview of the contest for the Blue Devil Network.
Back on March 23, the Blue Devils defeated the Orange, 21-7, at Koskinen Stadium. Today’s meeting also serves as a rematch of the 2013 NCAA Championship game when Duke earned a 16-10 victory for the program’s second national title.
Today’s game will be aired live on ESPNU. The second semifinal features top-seeded Maryland and fourth-seeded Notre Dame. Sunday’s championship game is set for 1 p.m. on ESPNU.
With a 12-2 overall record, the Blue Devils enter the weekend ranked No. 2 in the national polls.
