WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Junior Fred Saba earned victories in two singles matches and advanced to the finals Saturday, as the Duke men's tennis team continued play at the Wake Forest Fall Invitational in Winston Salem, N.C.

Saba cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 defeat over Cameron Silverman of Elon in the A1 singles draw. In the semifinal round, the junior earned a 6-3, 6-2 decision over N.C. State's Dave Thompson. Saba will face Amogh Probhakar of Wake Forest, in the finals. 

Freshman Josh Levine dropped a hard-fought match to 68th-ranked Nelson Vick of UNC in the A2 singles draw, 7-5, 6-2. The rookie earned a spot in the fifth-place match by the benefit of a walkover against Elon's Stefan Fortmann. He will face Jon Ho of Wake Forest.

In the B singles bracket, freshman Daniel McCall was defeated by UNC Wilmington's Kosta Blank, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4. The San Francisco, California, product also dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Pedro Mol of UNCW. McCall will battle N.C. State's Trey Carter in the seventh place match.

In doubles, the tandem of McCall and Saba were defeated by 17th-ranked David Hopkins and Prabhakar of Wake Forest in the semifinals of the A doubles draw, 8-2. The duo will face the Demon Deacon pair of Danny Kreyman and Adam Lee in the third-place match on Sunday.

The championship and consolation matches are all scheduled to take place Sunday.
