2013-14: Outdoors, specialized in the discus…earned a first-place finish at the VertKlasse Meeting (4/5) with a season-best mark of 185-11.00 (56.66)…also placed first at the Joe Hilton Invitational (4/12) and Carolina Relays (3/21)…qualified for the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/19), placing fourth overall with a distance of 177-11.00 (54.23)…finished eighth at the prestigious Penn Relays (4/26), sending the implement 177-1.00 (53.98)…qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round meet (5/31), placing 39th overall.
2012-13: Outdoors, qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the discus with a throw of 184-5 (56.22) to finish seventh overall...earned All-ACC honors in the discus after finishing second overall with a mark of 181-3 (55.25)…broke his own school record four times throughout the season with his best throw measuring 190-6 (58.07) at the Virginia Challenge on May 10…earned ACC Performer of the Week honors May 7…Indoors, competed once in the men’s shot put at the Virginia Tech Challenge where his best mark measured 44-5.5 (13.55).
2010-2011: Earned All-East honors with a throw of 173-10.25 ... set school record with a season-best toss of 181-5.50 to place fourth at the Penn Relays.
2009-2010: became the first athlete in Duke track and field history to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the discus where he finished 20th (164-3) ... posted season-high throw of 180-10 at the NCAA Eastern Preliminary Round ... placed third at the ACC Championships to earn All-ACC honors (179-5) ... won the discus championship (175-8) at the Penn Relays, becoming the first Duke athlete to do so since James O’Leary in 1950.
2012: Returning starting linebacker ... Duke’s most experienced linebacker ... in 36 career games (14 starts), has 81 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 quarterback sacks, four QB pressures and one PBU ... on the field for 1,347 career snaps ... owns 11 career games with 4+ tackles including a career-best effort of eight stops against both Army (2010) and Georgia Tech (2010) ... has registered 1+ tackles in 13 of the past 15 games dating back to the 2010 season ... has recorded three career multi-tackle for loss games including a career-best 2.0 TFL performance against Florida State in 2011 ... one of four current Duke players to have appeared in all 36 games over the past three seasons, joining Jackson Anderson, Walt Canty and Tony Foster ... two-year (2010-11) letterman as a member of the Duke Track & Field program ... holds the school record in the discus (181-5.50).
