DURHAM, N.C. - Duke stands in 11th place in the latest Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Standings, released earlier today by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. The Directors’ Cup rankings measure an athletic program’s comprehensive sports success by totaling points based on a team’s finish in national competition.

After the previous ranking released in early April, Duke maintained its total of 569.5 points. Overall, Duke ranks second among private institutions (Stanford is first). Four Atlantic Coast Conference schools are ranked in the top 11 – North Carolina (7th, 612.30), Virginia (8th, 610.5), Florida State (10th, 598.25), and Duke (11th, 569.5).

The next Division I standings will be available June 3.
