Devin Demyanovich, a native of Coaldale, PA, joined the Duke Athletic Medicine staff in August 2011 and works primarily with the wrestling and fencing teams. Devin brings strong leadership qualities to the athletic medicine staff and plays a major role is writing the policies and procedures for the athletic medicine department. Clinically, Devin is certified in ART for the Upper Extremity and possesses a strong interest in shoulder performance optimization and manual therapy techniques. She is also a preceptor for students and a guest lecturer at neighboring undergraduate Athletic Training Educational Programs.
Devin earned her Master of Science Kinesiology with a concentration in Applied Neuromechanics in 2011. While completing her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she served as the Medical Director for the Southern Scuffle wrestling tournament. Prior to attending UNCG, Demyanovich attended The Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training.
