Kevin Atkins joined the Duke athletic department in July of 2012 as an administrative assistant in the ticket office.

Atkins graduated from Alabama A&M University in 2010 with a degree in marketing. While in college, he was a three-year letter winner on the Bulldog football team. At Alabama A&M, he earned numerous honors including SWAC Newcomer of the Week and SWAC Offensive Player of the Week. He was also a member of the 2006 SWAC Championship team.

Atkins currently has one daughter, Kema Atkins.
