DURHAM, N.C. - The Bowl Eligible Duke football team returns home this weekend to face Clemson on Saturday, November 3, at 7 p.m.  The game will be aired live on ESPN2.  Recently GoDuke.com sat down with senior running back Patrick Kurunwune to learn more about the Austin, Texas native.

GoDuke.com: What is the most misunderstood thing about football or about football players?
Patrick Kurunwune:
That we have a lot of free time. We are a morning practice team so we have to wake up pretty early. Then we have meetings, practice, school work, and then homework after that so the whole day is pretty busy.

GoDuke.com: What's your favorite thing about being a student athlete?
PK:
Just the camaraderie of my teammates.

GoDuke.com: What's your favorite spot on campus?
PK:
The Yoh.

GoDuke.com: Any words of wisdom you would like to pass on to freshmen or future Blue Devils?
PK: Live it up because it goes by really fast.

GoDuke.com: Talk about the first time you started playing football or decided on football as a sport.
PK: I was eight years old and playing for the peewee team for the NAO Bulldogs. I was actually a nose guard. That was my first position. Then I got moved to running back after that and I loved it. I don't miss defense at all.

GoDuke.com: If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
PK:
The first thing I would buy would be a house for my parents probably in Dubai.

GoDuke.com:  If for some reason you couldn't play football, what other sport would you play?
PK:
Golf. I don't play, but I would learn.

GoDuke.com: What's one possession you can't live without?
PK:
My XBOX 360. My favorite game would be Madden or NCAA, one of the football games.

GoDuke.com: Is there anything on the IPOD that would be embarrassing?
PK:
Hey I just met you... the Call Me Maybe song. I don't know who the artist is.

GoDuke.com: What's your favorite food?
PK:
Foo Foo. It's a Nigerian type meal.

GoDuke.com: Who's been the biggest mentor in your life?
PK:
I would say my father. He's just a big inspiration and always keeps my head in the right place.
