2014: Earned All-America honors in his freshman season after going 14-11 and placing eighth at the NCAA Fencing Championships ... his eighth-place finish was the highest by a Duke freshman at the NCAA Championships since women’s saber Becca Ward won the national title in 2009 and men’s foilist Dan Cohen placed sixth the same year ... one of two Duke freshmen to qualify for the NCAA Championships, joining foilist Joseph Lam ... took home 10th-place at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional ... led the Duke sabers with a 62-20 record ... his 62 wins during the regular season tied him with Julia Lee to rank first among all Duke fencers in 2014 ... after starting with an 8-7 performance at the Penn State Duals, went 48-10 in his next three meets, including a 15-3 performance at the Philadelphia Invitational, records of 12-3 and 11-1 at the two-day Northwestern Duals and a 10-3 showing at the Duke Home Meet ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
