DURHAM, N.C. - After a week that saw the Blue Devils women's soccer team beat William & Mary 4-1 on Friday night, as well as a dominant 8-0 victory against Elon Sunday evening, redshirt junior Kim DeCesare was named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's Team of the Week.
DeCesare, a native of Massapequa, N.Y., recorded three goals and two assists last week in the Blue Devil's two wins. DeCesare is a captain of the 2012 team and owns 10 career goals including three game-winners. In 2011, DeCesare earned ACC All-Tournament Team honors coming off the bench for Duke.
The second-ranked Blue Devils are slated to play the University of Montreal on Aug. 24 and will face off against Florida on Aug. 26 as part of the UNC Classic in Chapel Hill, N.C.

D: Kim DeCesare, Duke - Recorded 3 goals and 2 assists in a pair of wins.
M: Emily Goldstein, Iowa State Recorded 2 goals and an assist on the weekend, including a golden goal vs. Creighton.
M: Christine Nairn, Penn State - Scored twice and had an assist in a pair of wins.
M: Amy Harrison, Tennessee Scored 4 goals in two games.
M: Kristin Cummins, Texas Scored twice including a golden goal vs. Dayton.
F: Grace Leer, California - Scored a hat trick vs. San Jose State.
F: Rachel Strawn, Idaho State - Scored 3 goals in 2 games.
