In the UNC Nike Classic, the Blue Devils will now face New Mexico on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 12:00 p.m., in Chapel Hill.
The major change in the schedule has to do with the Duke Nike Classic on Sept. 6 and 8 at Koskinen Stadium in Durham. Duke will play the first game on Sept. 6 against West Virginia that will start at 6:00 p.m., followed by North Carolina versus UCLA at 8:00 p.m. To close the tournament on Sunday, Sept. 8, West Virginia will face North Carolina at 11:00 a.m., and Duke will host UCLA at 1:00 p.m. The tournament is expected to be one of the best fields in the nation.
Duke’s only other schedule change features the Pittsburgh contest at home on Oct. 27. The game will now kick at 1:00 p.m., because it will be aired live on RSN-TV and ESPN3.
The Blue Devils will host Tennessee on Friday, Aug. 16 at 5:00 p.m., in an exhibition contest before hitting the road to open the 2013 regular season. Duke will face Texas A&M in College Station, Texas on Aug. 23 and then will take on South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., on Aug. 25. Duke features eight home contests this season with all home games being played at Koskinen Stadium.
