The best part of my game is… My work ethic. I may not be the most skilled person out there, but I'm definitely going to work just as hard, if not harder, as anyone else on the field.

I like my position best because… It allows me to do a little bit of everything. Center mids can score goals, assist goals, or work hard to get back and stop goals. In a way, you run the show.

The best place I have ever traveled to play soccer is… Disney World! I never went as a kid, so it was most certainly an incentive to make it to nationals that year.

My first goal I ever scored was… The first goal I can remember scoring was when I played recreational soccer. One of my teammates "shot" the ball (I don't even know if you can consider what we did shooting) and it bounced off the keeper and landed at my feet. I got so excited I almost missed. It ended up being the game winner, and, although it may not have been the prettiest goal, I felt like I had just won the World Cup.

Over the summer, I worked on… my fitness and first touch to improve my game. If you're fit and can move with the ball well, you'll be one of the toughest people to defend.

My favorite professional soccer team is… FC Barcelona. Lionel Messi is my hero.

I love the World Cup because… It's the one time where the whole world is interested in soccer. Soccer isn't always a crowd favorite in America, but I believe the World Cup really provides people with a new appreciation for the game.

My best shot ever was… Against Central Florida. It was a rebound shot and I was tackled at the same time I hit the ball. Luckily enough, it had just enough spin on it to go side netting and tie the game.

My favorite sport outside soccer is… Softball to play and football to watch.

My favorite story about Coach Church was… Sophomore year at the Carolina Classic. We were playing Notre Dame, who at the time were ranked number one in the nation. I was watching the game and cheering on my teammates when I heard Robbie yelling. Since, as many of you know, this is not a rarity, I proceeded to watch the game without giving it much attention. However, I began to notice that everyone on the bench was looking in my direction. I looked up only to notice that Robbie was yelling at me, "Leeanna! Go warm up!!" As I got up, I made the mistake of looking a Rebecca, who had already begun to shake in laughter. I bit my tongue so I wouldn't do the same. Prior to going into the game, Robbie made it a point to tell me that I better get out there and play regardless of what he called me.

The person who has had the biggest influence on my soccer career is…  I could never pick just one. My club coaches always played a big role in my development, motivating and instructing me to play at my highest level.

The professional soccer player’s game I could best compare my game to is…  I wouldn't dare insult a professional player's game like that. Although, I do try to implement some of Messi's skills into my game- drawing players in and making cheeky passes (most of which fail but are worth a shot).

My pre-game superstitions or rituals are… I'm not a superstitious person in the slightest. One ritual which I usually get roped into though is hair braiding.

My favorite athlete outside of soccer is…  Steve Nash.

If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be… Rome and Italy.

My hobbies outside of soccer are… Reading and relaxing (there never seems to be enough time for it).

My best talent other than playing soccer is… Braiding hair? Jokes. Maybe it's still undiscovered.

My favorite food is… Ice cream.

My favorite cartoon is… Doug.

If I could star on a reality television show, it would be… My Fair Wedding.

A weird fact not many people might not know about me is…
I had a fro in 3rd grade. Sad but true. Thanks, mom.

If I could appear on the cover of any magazine, it would be… People.

If I could spend three hours doing anything, it would be…

The weirdest noise I can make is… Carl Christensen Impersonation.

My current ring tone is… Everything's right- Matt Wertz.

My favorite web site to visit is… Facebook, duh.

My nickname is… Lynnie, Nay-Nay (although I'd prefer it not to be), and, of course, Leeanna.

My can’t miss television show is… Grey's Anatomy has always been a must.

My favorite movie is…
Old School.

My go to meal I can cook is… Chicken parm or my mom's macaroni and cheese.

I started playing soccer at age…
6. One of my best friends played soccer and so I obviously had to also.

My favorite class I have taken at Duke so far is… Molecular biology and genetics. I wasn't very good at it, but I loved it. Nerdy, I know.

What I like best about Coach Church is… How much he truly cares.

Duke is the best place to play collegiate soccer because…
It gives you everything you could ever want- top ten academics, the opportunity to play for a top ACC/nationally ranked soccer team, and have the greatest group of 28 best friends imaginable.
