Ashley Rape has been named a CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performer of the Week on Monday, after guiding the Blue Devils to NCAA Tournament victories over California and fifth-ranked Florida over the weekend.DURHAM, N.C. – Duke redshirt sophomore defender
Rape and the Duke defense allowed only one goal in two matches to advance to its third NCAA Sweet 16 over the last four years. A product of Dallas, Texas, Rape started both matches on the defensive end and played the entire 200 minutes in the two victories.

Blue Devil sophomore goalkeeper Tara Campbell saved the first Florida penalty kick and the Gators missed their fourth attempt to the right. For Duke, sophomore Nicole Lipp, senior Meaghan FitzGerald, senior Marybeth Kreger and senior Lynnea Pappas each stepped forward and drained their kicks to push the Blue Devils through.
On the season, Rape has started all 21 matches and totaled two assists. She has helped lead the Duke defense to 10 shutouts.
Duke will next take on sixth-ranked Oklahoma State on Friday, Nov. 19 at 8:00 p.m. (EST) in Stillwater, Okla., in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16.
