DURHAM, N.C. - released its teams of the season on Thursday with Duke's freshmen tandem of Mollie Pathman and Laura Weinberg receiving All-Rookie Team accolades.  Pathman was named to the first team, while Weinberg earned second team honors.

The duo have guided the Blue Devils into the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 as they have combined for 18 goals, seven assists and 43 points.  Duke has notched an 11-7-4 overall record and are coming off notching a 4-2 shootout victory over fifth-ranked Florida on Sunday to advance in the NCAAs.

Pathman, a native of Durham, N.C., has notched eight goals, five assists and 21 points on the season.  The 5-3 forward has totaled a team-best three multi-goal performances on the season against North Carolina, Clemson and Francis Marion.   Pathman also registered key assists during a three-game winning streak in October against then 25th-ranked Virginia Tech, eighth-ranked Boston College and N.C. State.

The reigning Gatorade National High School Player of the Year, Pathman had played in all 20 matches prior to missing the games over the weekend with an illness.

With her 10 goals scored on the season, Weinberg has matched the Duke single-season record for goals by a freshman.  She is tied along with Sarah Friend, who posted 10 tallies in 1989.  A product of Boca Raton, Fla., Weinberg has notched 10 goals, two assists and 22 points on the season for the Blue Devils.   She scored two of her biggest goals of the season against eighth-ranked Boston College on Oct. 21 in a span of less than two minutes.  A 5-9 forward, Weinberg also notched a goal versus California in the NCAA Tournament first round and hit the game-tying tally against Florida during the regular season.

Both Weinberg and Pathman were also selected to the All-ACC Second Team and All-ACC Freshman team earlier this month.

Duke is set to take on sixth-ranked Oklahoma State on Friday, Nov. 19 at 8:00 p.m. (EST), in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in Stillwater, Okla.
