Unranked in the preseason polls, the Blue Devil women’s soccer team enjoyed the most successful season in school history with a run to the NCAA Championship match.

Under the direction of National Coach of the Year honoree Robbie Church, Duke won a school single-season record 22 matches, captured the ACC regular season championship and reached the finals of the NCAA Tournament before falling to Stanford, 1-0.  The Blue Devils finished the year with a 22-4-1 overall record.

Sophomores Natasha Anasi (1st team) and Kaitlyn Kerr (3rd team) both earned All-America honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.  Freshman Kelly Cobb led the Blue Devils in scoring with 31 points on 11 goals and nine assists, followed by Kerr (11-5=27) and sophomore Mollie Pathman (6-11=23).  Junior goalkeeper Tara Campbell carded a school single-season record 13 shutouts.
