DURHAM, N.C.-- Duke women’s soccer head coach Robbie Church has released the camp and clinic schedule for 2012. Church, who was the 2011 Soccer America National Coach of the Year, is coming off a record-breaking year that featured a trip to the NCAA College Cup and an ACC Regular Season title in 2011.
“Our camps and clinics are a great way for any student-athlete to come see what Duke has to offer,” commented Church. “It is a great way for the coaching staff to see them play in a competitive environment while they are able to see to meet us and see the facilities we have to offer.”
New for 2012 is the College Prospect Clinic which will be held on March 3, 2012. This program is an intensive one day curriculum directed by the Duke University women’s soccer staff for the purpose of training high level players. The clinic will address both the technical and tactical areas of the game. These are the essential building blocks to give the motivated young athlete tools to be successful at the next level. A separate goalkeeping curriculum will be available to address the needs of a goalkeeper.
