Natasha Anasi will travel with the United States U-23 Women’s National Team as the squad heads to La Manga, Spain from Feb. 20 through March 2 to compete in the Four Nations Tournament.DURHAM, N.C. - For the second time over the last two months, Duke University All-America defender
This will be the U-23s first international matches of the year against Sweden, England and Norway. The USA opens the tournament on Feb. 26 against Sweden, will face England on Feb. 28 and finishes the competition against Norway on March 1.
Anasi, who is out of Arlington, Texas, guided a Duke defense that registered a school-record 16 shutouts last season, earned NSCAA First Team All-America and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Defensive Player of the Year accolades. She led the Blue Devils to a 22-4-1 overall record in 2011 and advanced to the NCAA College Cup for the first time since 1992.
