DURHAM, N.C.-- The Duke women's soccer program has added another standout recruiting class this year under the direction of head coach Robbie Church. This spring and summer GoDuke.com will take a closer look at each of the 2012 incoming freshmen.

The first of six signees is Sammie Thomas, who is a native of Lonetree, Colo.  Thomas attended IMG Pendleton, following her sophomore campaign.  A 5-7 defender, Thomas netted three goals and 16 assists during the fall campaign with IMG Academies club soccer team.  She was recently named to the Hellenic Team in the W League.
