GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Freshman Alexander Matlari is tied for ninth at the Pirate Intercollegiate at the Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, N.C. The Leimen, Germany native posted a four-over 146 (76-70) Monday and is seven shots back of leader Sydney Chung (Lipscomb).

Turner Southey-Gordon recorded rounds of 72 and 75 to enter Tuesday's final round tied for 12th at five-over. Freshman Andrew Bieber is tied for 39th after shooting 78-81, while Austin Cody is tied for 41st following rounds of 88 and 72.

Presbyterian College is leading the event with a 16-over 584, five shots better than host East Carolina. Towson is third with a 593 while Barton College (594) and Lipscomb (596) round out the top five. Matlari, Southey-Gordon, Bieber and Cody are competing as individuals for the tournament.
