DURHAM, N.C. – Duke University freshman women’s soccer standout Rebecca Quinn will head back to her home country of Canada from February 16-27 to train with Canada’s U-20 Women’s National Team.

A total of 18 players will assemble in Burnaby, BC where they will participate in their first camp of 2014 in preparation in advance of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2014.  Following camp, the draw for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will take place March 1 in Montreal.

Quinn, who is a product of Toronto, Canada, started the first four matches of her collegiate career at Duke before being saddled with injuries. After being injured against New Mexico on Sept. 1, Quinn only played in three other matches the rest of the season.  The midfielder collected one assist against Boston College.  She has been a part of Canada’s U-20 and U-17 National Teams.
