2012: Reserve offensive tackle ... charted as the second string left tackle behind Takoby Cofield ... could compete for game action.

2011: Did not see game action.

Prior to Duke: Three-year letterman at South Point under coach John Devine ... helped South Point to three state playoff berths including the 2009 state championship (3-AA) ... guided South Point to 23-6 record over final two seasons ... all-conference pick and team captain as a senior ... earned first team all-county honors from the Gaston Gazette in 2010 ... also participated in basketball and track and field ... earned county top-10 finishes in both the discus and shot put in 2010.
