2013-14: Competed in three meets during the fall season…opened with a first-place finish at the Bull City Classic (8/31)…clocked a season-best 5K time of 18:45.6 at the adidas XC Challenge (9/20)…Indoors, focused heavily on the 800…qualified for the ACC Indoor Championships (2/27) as the 800 leg of the DMR, helping the Blue Devils win the conference title with a time of 11:15.57…also placed 11th in the preliminary round of the 800m competition in a converted time of 2:09.82…highest 800 finish of the season came at the Dick Taylor Challenge (1/24), placing second with a season-best converted time of 2:08.63…competed on the fifth-place finishing DMR at the Penn State National (1/31) competition that ran the fourth-fastest time (11:07.85) in school history…participated as the second-leg of the 4x800 relay that placed second at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet (2/8)…Outdoors, clocked the fifth-fastest 800 time in Duke history, 2:06.02, in the preliminary round of the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/18)…placed sixth overall at the conference championships in the 800…carried the baton as the third leg of the fourth-place finishing 4x400 at the ACC Outdoor Championships (4/19)…also qualified for the NCAA Preliminary Round meet (5/29) in the 800, placing 21st in the preliminary round with a time of 2:06.51…anchored the second-fastest SMR team in Duke history (3:50.41), helping guide the relay to a sixth-place finish at the Penn Relays (4/25)…covered the 800 leg of the DMR at the Penn Relays (4/24) that finished seventh and ran the fifth-fastest time in Duke history, 11:18.29.
2012-13: Ran on four occasions during the fall, posting a personal-best mark of 18:28 over 5K to finish fourth at the Three Stripe Invitational...Indoors, the half mile specialist ran a personal-best time of 2:09.96 to finish sixth at the Virginia Tech Elite…finished 13th at the ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 2:12.09...member of the distance medley relay team that finished second at the conference championships after combining for a time of 11:24.61…Outdoors, ran a season-best time of 2:08.83 to finish second at the Duke Twilight…finished 14th at the ACC Outdoor Championships with a time of 2:09.94...ran the 800 leg on the women’s distance medley relay that combined for a time of 11:36.30 to finish third at the Penn Relays…also served as leadoff leg in the women’s 4x800 relay that finished eighth at the Penn Relays and ranks third on Duke’s all-time list after clocking 8:40.96.
2011-12: Indoors, ran Duke's fastest 800m time of the season in a 2:14.33 clocking at the New Balance Collegiate...ran the 800m leg on the sixth-place distance medley relay at the ACC Championships...outdoors, specialized in the 800m but also participated in several 4x400 relays...ran a 2:07.69 in the 800m at the Duke Twilight...finished 12th in the same event at the ACC Championships with a time of 2:10.41...ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay to earn All-East honors...qualified for the NCAA First Round in the 800m, advancing to the quarterfinal heat and finishing in 21st place...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prior to Duke: Four-year letterwinner at Park Tudor...three-time state champion in the 800m...state record-holder in the 800m with a time of 2:08.91...member of three-time state-qualifying 4x1,600m relay team that took sixth at the state meet her senior year...four-time all-state and all-conference honoree...won county championships in the 800m and as a part of the 4x3,200m relay...placed third in the 800m at the New Balance Nationals her senior year...holds school records in the 800m, 1,600m, 4x1,600m relay and 4x3,200m relay events...named Park Tudor's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior...also lettered four years in soccer, one year in basketball and one year in swimming...earned Cum Laude Recognition...twice named a National AP Scholar.
Personal: Daughter of Tim and Diane Farley...born Oct. 15, 1992...has one brother, Henry, and two sisters - Hannah and Gretchen...twin brother, Henry, is a sophomore middle-distance runner on the Duke men's track and field team...sister, Hannah, is a member of the women's track & field team at Stanford...cousin, Laura Farley, ran track and field at Purdue (2003-07)...grandfather, Dick Farley, played basketball at Indiana University (1952-54), where he was a member of the Hoosiers' 1953 National Championship team...he went on to play for the National Basketball League's Syracuse Nationals from 1954-59.
