2016-17: Competed in four meets in the cross country season…Opened the season with a second place finish in the 6K at the Duke Alumni Meet (9/2)…Led Duke with an 11th place finish in the 8K at the VertCross Invitational (10/14)…Came in third among Duke runners at the ACC Cross Country Championships (10/28)…Competed in the mile and the distance medley relay during the indoor season…Ran a 4:13.60 mile at the Bob Pollock Invitational (1/28) and a 4:16.04 mile at the Liberty Invitational (2/11)…Helped the DMR team finish in first place at the Hokie Invitational (1/20) and the Armory Invitational (2/4) as well as anchoring an eight place finish in the ACC Indoor Championships (2/25)…Did not compete during the outdoor season…Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2015-16: Competed in four meets during the fall campaign…opened the season with a 33rd-place showing at the Princeton Inter-Regional Meet (10/3), stopping the clock at 24:33.4 for 8K…set a personal-best 8K time of 24:32.4 at the Pre-Nationals Invitational (10/17)…competed primarily in the mile during the indoor season, including a personal-best effort of 4:05.51 at the ACC Championships (2/27) to place eighth overall…led off the first-place finishing DMR at the VT Challenge (2/20)…during the outdoor season, claimed second-team all-conference honors with a sixth-place finish in the 1,500 at the ACC Championships (5/15), clocking a time of 3:44.51…won the Duke Invitational (4/23) 1,500 after stopping the clock at 3:46.23…anchored Duke’s 4x800 team that clocked the second-fastest time in program history (7:24.94) and placed sixth overall at the Penn Relays (4/30)…also anchored the first-place finishing 4x1,500 relay at the Raleigh Relays (3/26)…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll…earned All-ACC Academic Team honors…named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2014-15: Participated in four meets during the fall…made college cross country debut at the Virginia Duals (8/29) with a 13th-place showing…followed the performance by placing 18th at the JMU Invitational (9/13) while finishing in a time of 25:44.50…Indoors, competed once, crossing the line in sixth at the Carolina Cup (1/16) with an 800 time of 1:56.67…Outdoors, served as leadoff for first-place finishing 4x800 at the Raleigh Relays (3/28)...named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the second consecutive season.

2013-14: Indoors, saw a strong start to his college career, helping Duke’s 4x800 win the Millrose Games (2/15) in a time of 7:30.06, the fourth-fastest time in school history…saw a second-place finish in the mile at the Dick Taylor Challenge (1/24)…placed third in the mile with a time of 4:10.61 at the Virginia Tech invitational (1/17)…finished sixth in the mile at the Armory Collegiate Invitational (2/8), running a time of 4:12.72…ran the 1,200 leg of the DMR that placed fifth at the Armory Collegiate Invitational in a combined time of 9:48.52…also covered the 800 leg of the seventh-place finishing Duke DMR at the ACC Indoor Championships (2/27)…Outdoors, saw limited action, competing at two meets during the season…ran a time of 1:54.83 at the Joe Hilton Invitational (4/12) to conclude his outdoor campaign.

Prior to Duke: Four year letterwinner in track & field under Martin ‘Skip’ Springman and William ‘Bill’ Bixler at Cumberland Valley High School…earned All-State honors four times throughout his career, including twice in the 800 (2012, 2013) and twice in the 4x800 (2012, 2013)…also earned All-State honors in cross country during the 2012 season…District three champion in the 800 while setting a new event record…four-time conference champion, twice in the 800 (2012, 2013) and twice in the 4x800 (2012, 2013)…finished fourth at the Penn Relays in the 4x800 relay…member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Son of Linda and George Kunzweiler…born May 8, 1995…has one older sister, Lisa...Father was a four year letterwinner as a rugby player at West Point Military Academy.
