DURHAM, N.C. -- Redshirt Senior Sean Renfree was named Ronald McDonald House Student-Athlete of the Week after leading Duke to a 38-14 home win over Memphis on Saturday. Renfree completed passes to eight different receivers and finished the game 26-of-37 for 314 yards. He connected with fellow senior Conner Vernon for 120 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing scoring passes to Desmond Scott and Brandon Connette.
Duke's passing game has been one of the best in the ACC under Renfree this season, leading the league in passing yards, tying for the lead in touchdown passes and ranking second in completion percentage. Through four weeks, Renfree is among the league's top three in pass completions, touchdown passes, passing yards per game and completion percentage. He is one of only two quarterbacks in the country to have completed at least 70 percent of his passes in every game this year.
Renfree and the Blue Devils take on ACC foe Wake Forest on Saturday, Sept. 29, in Winston-Salem, N.C. at 12:30 p.m. The game will air on the ACC Network.-d-u-k-e-
