Duke vs. Virginia Tech
• Duke plays the second of six straight ACC games to close the regular season by travelling to meet 16th-ranked Virginia Tech ... Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ... The game will be broadcast live by ESPNU with Anish Shroff (play-by-play) and Kelly Stouffer (analyst)   

• The Blue Devils stand at 5-2 overall and 1-2 in league play after defeating Virginia, 35-22, last week on the road ... The Hokies are 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the ACC following their 19-9 win over Pitt back on October 12 ... Virginia Tech was idle last weekend

• Saturday’s game will mark the 21st on the gridiron between the two schools ... Virginia Tech leads the all-time series, 13-7, which dates back to 1937 ... Duke won seven of the first eight meetings between 1937-81, but the Hokies have captured 12 consecutive victories over the Blue Devils since 1982
• The Blue Devils own an all-time record of 23-131-6 against nationally-ranked oppoennts (AP poll) ... Duke’s last victory over a ranked foe came in a 28-25 triumph over No. 13 Virginia on November 5, 1994

• With last week’s win at Virginia, Duke QB Anthony Boone became just the second quarterback since 1950 to guide the Blue Devils to victories in each of his first five career starting assignments ... QB Worth Lutz directed Duke to wins in each of his first five starts in 1952

• The Duke defense has pitched second-half shutouts in each of the last two weeks ... On October 5 against Navy, the Blue Devils limited the Midshipmen to zero points and 73 total yards in the 35-7 win ... Last week at Virginia, Duke held the Cavaliers to zero points on just 83 yards of total offense in the 35-22 triumph

• Duke QB Brandon Connette has thrown two game-winning, fourth-quarter TD passes on the road in 2013 ... His 22-yard scoring strike to WR Issac Blakeney in the fourth period was the go-ahead score at Memphis in week two, and, last week in Charlottesville, he tossed a 47-yard TD pass to TE Braxton Deaver that keyed Duke’s win over Virginia ... Connette is the only QB in Duke history with two game-winning, fourth-quarter TD passes in a single season

John Latina, Duke’s Assistant Head Coach & Run Game Coordinator, is a 1981 graduate of Virginia Tech ... Latina lettered three seasons as an offensive lineman for the Hokies and served the 1981 season as a graduate assistant coach in Blacksburg

• Last week, K Ross Martin became the 12th player in Duke history to reach the 150-point plateau ... Martin has 150 points on 24 FGs & 78 PATs
