DURHAM -- Friday night's preseason game between the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers in the Queen City had a distinctly Duke feel. That's because two former Blue Devils, quarterback Thad Lewis and cornerback Ross Cockrell, took the field for the visiting team in the state they spent their record-breaking collegiate careers.

Lewis finished the game with six completions on 11 attempts for 63 yards. Cockrell saw significant time at his cornerback position throughout the contest.

The Blue Devil Network was on hand to document the game and the post-graduate reunion of Cockrell and his former Duke offensive lineman teammate Dave Harding.

The Bills next play the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 16 at 7:30pm.
